This toy has some neat features that are helpful for playing. It has loops on the reigns to put the dolls hands into. And the saddle has stirrups for putting in the feet so it really helps to keep the doll on the horse while playing. It's also a nice big horse. It makes sounds (galloping & whinnying), which I didn't realize, but it ended up being okay because the volume is at a nice level and it only makes sounds if you push the button. It feels like there are some kind of supports in the legs and this is helpful in making the horse stand upright. This was a great Christmas present and my girls play with it often.
