Wow, this R/C helicopter flies great! With the 3 channels, you get lots of control. And there is a lot of fly time on a charge also. I think it's the best value for an R/C that I've seen.

Hausler 450 SE V2 RTF Electric RC Helicopter

High quality parts at 1/10 the price of a trex. You can find the full manual online. Much of the trex's parts cross over! I bought some 2650 11.1 40c Lipos that work with the stock esc. Its important to set your trims via laptop and tighten all screws before your first flight. Also I would install carbon fiber 325 blades to increase sensitivity.

NEWEST Double Horse RC Helicopter 9118 26" 3.5ch 2.4G R/C (Colors May Vary)

NEEDS TO BE MODIFIED, with a bigger battery. It is very stable and doesn't cut out.
Can withstand a lot. Great helicopter, Got a 7.4v 2100 mAp battery on eb*& with a jst connector. Now it stays up for 15 min. plus Trial and error. Good thing these are REALLY DURABLE!!!!!
Mine has crashed where I cringed, and walked up to it, expecting to see it destroyed.
But I just put it back on the ground, and off he kept flying like a champ.
It's nice to know they are REALLY crash friendly. Not that I recommend that.
Fly in 0 mph to 2 wind and buy a tiny HD video camera, mount it close to the front. 19.99 on Amazon. This Helicopter can go really high without cutting out. Get some great HD footage.
Also, buy a new bigger battery and stay out awhile. You might have to do some soldering, unless you can get a battery with a jst connector. I found one on E b$# It's really easy to pop the hood off, switch batteries, and pop the hood back on. Fly up to your neighbor and say hi. It keeps you looking up into the sky, where you never know what you might see.
Just got a new tail motor online. For a syma SO33. The bigger of the two they make. They make two different S033's (One 11.1 v GREAT! The other 7.4v week) Put it in this, now it hauls azz. Cut the wires and spliced them. Got a tail blade from a 9104. Modified the tail holder so the motor fits (cut out the bottom). Has a lot more power. After all the hundreds of dollars I have spent, THIS ONE, and his brother with the bigger battery 7.4v 2200 mAp are my favorite ones. They both fly great in a 2 plus mph wind.

Blade mCX2 BNF

I have owned this for a couple of weeks now. It is fun and easy to fly. It will hover with ease. I use a Spectrum 5ex bind to the 5 in 1 board. It is good for small rooms but will be better with larger rooms. The reason for this is that it does move forward at a good pace so you have to watch and turn it quickly before you hit the wall. 4CH 2.4GHz Mini Radio Single Propeller RC Helicopter Gyro V911 RTF Red and Black

I am very impressed with this heli. It is a chinese knockoff cross between a Nine Eagles Solo Pro and an Align T-rex 100s, but for a third of the price. I even found the word Align in thier manual since they didn't do a good job removing that in the process of duplicating the manual. I came from flying an airhogs, then the Syma S102G (much better than air hog) and now this 4 channel V911. I can't compare to other 4 ch heli's but compared to the coaxial 3 channels, this is much, much more fun. It is so much faster and can fly outside in the sun, thanks to the 2.4 Ghz remote. Wind will greatly affect it so calm days are best. The 2 removable batteries are awesome and last 5 or 6 minutes each. The biggest problem I had was getting use to the different controller layout compared to the 3ch coaxial heli's. The throttle is still on the left, but the rudder (spin left or right) is on the left instead of the right, which makes this controller a mode 2 layout. The right stick on this controller controls forward/backward, and slide left/right (this function is the added channel). This took a couple days to get used and ended in a couple severe crashes. I severed the tail rotor wire on one of the crashes, which could have been prevented if I put a small piece of tape back there to keep the wire in between a recesed area. I soldered it back and taped it, and it is good as new. Mine was not purchased from amazon (was 80 dollars at the time, but more resonable now), but from ebay for $48. I also purchased a spare heli (no controller or batteries) for $28 from Banggood.com. Good thing I bought a second because I destroyed the servo on the first heli while showing at work. It was my fault though since I slammed the heli's side, directly on the servo arm, into a steel ladder at a very, very high rate of speed. This made the heli a spare parts doner (which was its original purpose) and not a flyable heli. By the way, to bind the radio to the new heli, simply turn both the heli (insert battery) and the controller on at exact same time, and it binds everytime. I do recommend putting some lightweight oil on the swash plate and main shaft for smoother action. Despite my couple issues above, this heli is very robust, having survived many crashes inside and out including slamming into a car and concrete pretty hard. Simply reattach the canopy that pops off (which probably absorbs a lot of the impact and save the heli's internals) and it is back in the air. I highly recommend!

Syma S023G 3.5 CH Large AH-64 Apache Military Gyro Helicopter - 15 Inches

Fun, fabulous flying as I've come to expect from Syma. This larger 'outdoor' sized copter is impressive. Nicely modeled, pretty darn big, performs GREAT. Flies stable and well. Definitely NOT a good candidate for indoor flying like the minis, unless you have a very large space indeed (large great room with vaulted ceiling, gym, etc.)... I have flown it indoors in a large living room, and it's plenty controllable to do so - just not much fun as you're really just trying to avoid hitting the walls or ceiling in that small a space.

like all outdoor heli's I've experienced, this one tolerates virtually no wind at all. You need a really still day. But given that, it flies extremely well. Plenty of range, can easily go higher than I want to fly it, lots of power. It would easily blast away the first-fallen leaves off my trees.

It does have a much more noticeable "ground effect" than the minis (as do real helicopters). Within about a foot of the ground, the 'blowback' will A) affect your rate of ascent/descent and B) cause a bit of side-slip. Nothing abnormal our out of control... You just quickly learn to take off and land 'promptly' to get out of the ground-effects zone.

Double Horse 9104 3.5 Ch 70cm Helicopter w/ Built-in Gyro RTF

Take your time and have fun flying this helicopter. I really enjoy flying the Double Horse 9104. One of the items that you must adjust for it to fly well is the angle of attack on the swash plate, but do not over do it. This is done by pulling the arm leading from the servo to the swash plate off at the buckle. If you do over adjust it, it will not fly straight. You may also need to put a small weight or two in the nose cone. Some people use modeling clay. I used bubble gum and small lead fishing weights.

Be careful when you plug the battery box charger to the battery. If you accidentally plug it in upside down, it is likely to damage the charging box and you will have to order a new charger. I recommend marking it so you can clearly see which way it is supposed to plug in.

Please note, that I believe it is cheaper to buy two 9104's and use one for spare parts, or one to learn on, and then keep for parts. I say this because I have spent more on parts than I did on the original 9104. Also, do not be tempted to fly it on a windy day. It will not fly well on a windy day, you will crash and you will have broken parts. Fly it on a windless day. Take baby steps learning to fly it and you will have an enjoyable experience.

The blade mCX2 helicopter is very light, well-made and very attractive to look at especially with the flashing lights.

The instructions in the manual are clear and get you flying quickly. It is fun to fly and flys very well. Great for flying indoors in limited space.
