Lego 9002113 Star Wars Darth Vader Mini-Figure Alarm Clock

My cousin, her husband and son are all huge star wars fans. Her son got this for Christmas and they all got a kick out of it. It's a nice size for packing on the road too.

LEGO Alarm Clock Radio - Blue

This is a really cool clock that looks like a giant Lego. The nobs on the top are acutally functional (I didn't know this when I bought it). One is the radio tuner and the other is the snooze button. My son really likes his clock. It has a radio also and he listens to music while he falls asleep which is something he never did before getting this clock for Christmas. It seems durable and works great. We are happy with it.

LEGO Star Wars Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker (10195)

This combination package is quite wonderful in the sense that it comes with two kits in one box. My kids love Legos, especially the SW sets. This kit takes quite a few hours for the kids to build, but they enjoy the building process. The kits are quite detailed once put together. Sturdiness is an issue particularly the mechanism where the walker attaches to the dropship. We do not glue our kits generally so pieces will come apart but definitely easily snapped back into place. Once both kits are assembled, it is a rather large set. The scale of the ships are also both quite nice. We are happy with the purchase.

LEGO Creator Emerald Night Train (10194)

Great model to assemble and wonderfully detailed. My son and I enjoyed every minute. However, my 9 yr old wanted to run it as a electric train. He used his own money to buy the parts and the directions are with the model. Unfortunately it doesn't run well. He had it going, but the linkage on the wheels jam/bind from time to time making it un-usable as a lego electric train. We love it as a static model, but not a working model.

LEGO Star Wars Super Star Destroyer 10221

I purchased the Super Star Destroyer because I can't resist Lego's high-end sets, especially ones that will be expensive/hard to find once they are discontinued. In brief, this is a beautiful set that features impressive build techniques.

- It's not for play but as long as you aren't hurling it around, it stays together well. The designers did sacrifice a small amount of rigidity to achieve a clean finish (the outer shell will bend to the touch in places).
- Building process is painless. Some portions are repetitive, but with a model this size even the repetitive parts can be very rewarding as the model comes together.
- The visible underside is highly detailed.

The Star Destroyer is good for kids who have the patience to assemble and the space display it. And for grownups from the "work hard, play hard" school who love Legos, this is a set that belongs in your collection.

LEGO Shuttle Expedition 10231

This is a terrific Lego set. It is rather large and is definitely for those older than 14. It takes awhile to put together. It's fairly strong as far as Legos go, but most Lego sets have parts that break off easily so that's to be expected.

LEGO Creator Pet Shop 10218

My 10 year old daughter loves this set! She has the grand emporium (which is also amazing) and has completed several of the architecture sets. The detail is very impressive, with cool interior spaces. We love how the modular sets look when hooked together!!

LEGO Creator Fire Brigade 10197

My son and I spent 4 days building this. We took our time. He is 6yrs. old and loved the little details on the inside of each floor. The building is beautiful. The detailing is fantastic. We build allot of Lego and this is in my top 3 favorites. My 6yr old built the truck easily and loved building all the neat things inside(ping pong table, couch, fridge etc).
Thanks V

LEGO Creator Town Hall 10224

Lego Creator Town Hall is the largest modular made by Lego to this date! 2766 pieces! Town Hall fits well into your Lego Modular City and compliments Fire Brigade being somewhat similar in design and brick tone. 3 Stories Tall, the functioning elevator is a lovely touch. Each Floor has fun play features. However the third floor is a little empty. This is easily remedied with furniture and other modifications!

The 8 minifigures included are all great additions to Lego modular city such as the Mayor, Janitor, and a Bride and Groom! There are many new Lego elements including new Greek Style Column Bricks that decorate the entrance to Town Hall.

Like all Creator Modulars, Town Hall is an excellent family project that teaches patience, coordination and team work!

I highly recommend this set!

LEGO Belville Set #7585 Horse Stable

I gave this stable to my 3 yr old granddaughter. As soon as she opened it
her 9 yr old brother started building it according to the directions. After he was finished, her 6 yr old sister played with her. When they both left, she dismantled the legos and put them together in free form style and thoroughly enjoyed creating new objects. It was a big hit for all of the kids regardless of their age!

LEGO® City Airport 3182

LEGO Ninjago Spinjitzu Dojo 2504

My son is 8 years old and has many of the other lego sets, including star wars. He loves this set and built it entirely by himself. He is sure this is his favorite of all sets. It has many spinning parts which make it interactive and also has a ninja guy with a spinning base, which makes the action very fun! I highly recommend this.

LEGO Pharaoh's Quest Scorpion Pyramid 7327

My son loves this set! He's a big fan of the Indiana jones Lego sets and this fits right in there! If your Lego fan loves the adventure sets you'll want to get this. The armoured atv is pretty cool great to take on the giant scorpion, to wrap it up it's a fun set if you want to take the minifigs on an adventure in the desert.

LEGO Star Wars Exclusive Special Edition Set #7868 Mace Windus Jedi Starfighter

This was my son's first experience ordering a toy for himself through the internet (with my help) and he was not disappointed at all. Everything came as quickly as expected and had everything that it was supposed to and he had a great time putting it together. :)

LEGO Ninjago Garmadon's Dark Fortress 2505

This was a lot of fun for my 7 year old to put together. I liked that there were clear divisions in the assembly instructions (and the pieces came in 5 sequential bags), but Ben did it all in one sitting. Then we played with it while watching Ninjago video clips on the website, Ninjago.com. He's always been big on Legos, but he particularly likes this set and storyline.

I give it 4 stars for "educational" because following assembly instructions is an important life skill.

LEGO Dino Triceratops Trapper 5885

Lego's Triceratops trapper set is amazing. I love this set even though it has a couple of issues. The first thing you'll notice with this set is how large the vehicle is. It feels like a monster truck especially when scaled next to the figure and Triceratops. It feels like a fortress of its own. It comes with a detachable Triceratops cage that can slide down/off the truck to capture the Tric. Then there's the main piece of the set the Tric. I absolutely love the Tric. It's scaled correctly, accurately detailed, painted symmetrically, and has many points of articulation. I can't find a single imperfection to the Triceratops. As much as I love this set it does have some issues. For instance, the set comes with 2 figure but the cockpit of the truck only has room for 1. Also, the roof of the cockpit doesn't come with a hinge, so you literally will have to pull the entire roof off to place a figure in instead of just lifting it up and down. Then there's the realism aspect of the truck, I mean the cage is detachable, but there isn't any kind of platform or lift to place the cage back onto the truck. I don't believe 2 figures can lift a cage filled with a Triceratops back onto a truck without some sort of apparatus on the truck. The cage also only fits the Triceratops and nothing else, its too big for the Ceolphysis and Deinonychus but too small for the T-rex.

I still love this set though and would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Dinosaurs and Legos. Plus the great thing about Legos, you can adjust the design to your specifications with spare Lego pieces.

LEGO Space Alien Mothership 7065

We love aliens and Lego Alien Conquest sets have been a lot of fun. We got this set on sale today and built it right away. It is super cool! The build is very very creative and interesting, a little repetitive at times. The ring is made out of very rare elements. The alien commander is excellent. There is a lot of playability for this set. It is sturdy enough to hold by the handle and fly around. There is a claw to capture the woman in business suit. The spinning feature is awesome but the sound is annoying after a while, especially when every little movement triggers it. We have figured out how to get the model to spin but not make noise, now we absolutely love this set. I wish we could have 2 of this set so we don't have to take turns and we can take one set apart to build other things. WOW!
