We bought this toy for our son after returning some of the Trackmaster
sets he received for his birthday. The wooden set, although more
expensive, is much more durable and allows for much more creative and
imaginative play that is so important at this age (3). We also bought
"Day of the Diesels" for our son and he loves it! He can retell all of
his favorite Thomas stories and create his own with this and his other
components to his wooden railway.We also thought that this set was well priced for all that it includes.
