My 6 year old daughter asked for a Monster truck for Christmas. I wanted to get her one that seemed like it would travel on various terrain. This one certainly fits the bill. I'm still amazed what this truck can do. Christmas morning she pulled out her matchbox cars and made this truck jump over and "smash" the littler cars. This truck articulates it's right and left side independently, so it can run the right side over a foot without flipping over and keep on going. It runs on carpeting, over rocks, up bumps, over cats tails and feet and keeps on going. I know my daughter can't wait for the snow and slush to be gone so she can take it outside and really see what it can do. I was expecting it to not be that fast, but it's no slouch on speed either. For being 6, she picked up the remote control really quickly, and she's not a big video gamer either. i recommend this monster truck to anyone who's go an on the go kid that needs a truck that can keep up with them (heck, her father and I like playing with it just as much as she does, we've thought about ordering two more in other colors!)
