So glad I didn't see the couple of bad reviews here before we tried our Squishy Baff. Can't imagine why those reviewers had such a bad experience... we followed instructions to the T and got exactly what the package described. We filled the bathtub (average size tub) about 3 inches deep with warm water, added one pouch of Squishy Baff (two baths worth come in a box), let set for about 5-10 minutes, and it "congealed" to an awesome "lumpy-jello" consistency. Not only did our 6 year old LOVE the consistency, but it somehow stayed warm the entire hour or so he played in it. He had a blast tossing the goo on the tile walls, squishing it between his fingers and toes, and lobbing globs of it on his bath toys (trying to sink them). The final seal of approval was when his eczema prone skin came out silky soft with no adverse reaction at all! And one bag of the "deactivator" (salt) completely dissolved the goop within 5-10 minutes so that it easily washed down the drain. This was a birthday gift from a friend who's a kindergarten teacher, and she told me this stuff was famously popular among that age group in her school. Our son had so much fun he couldn't wait to use the second one - which we did 2 nights later with equally successful results! He was even curious as to the why and how it gels and dissolves so my husband was able turn bath time into a fun little hands-on science lesson :-)) I give this toy an A+++ for fun and ease of use... but a D- for value. Ours was a gift but we found it online for $18-24 - a lot to spend for a couple of hours of bath fun - but we'll likely do it again sometime anyway. It was LOADS of fun!
