I like the redcat tornado s 30 it is insane fast and all parts can be replaced through amazon or directly through redcat this was my first RC I would not recommend for a first RC unless you have mechanical knowledge or internal combustion engines and I find it to be too fast for most beginners but it it is really fun to upgrade and work on and would teach a teen or young adult about properly maintaining a vehicle I think redcat makes nice entry level products that are easy on the pocket book and will grow with your experience level I would just suggest starting with their electric line of products if you have no experience with hobby grade RC's but go for the nitro if you have experience and are just looking to step up to the intense world of nitro burning power than redcoats line of nitro cars and trucks are perfect and won't break the bank
