Ordered this product and the shipping was the quickest I've seen. All parts where accounted for when I did the inventory. There is very little to do when putting this car together, the main body is already together you just have to put on the wheels, snap in the windshield. and put on the steering wheel. My son is just turned 1 and he loves this car. As long as you use it responsible I would say it would be ok for a 1 year old even though that its for a little older than that. I take him around the neighbor hood on the side walk using the remote control. The remote works excellent and it responds the way it should. For the price you can absolutely not beet this product. Ive seen other similar products for 3 to 4 times the price that dont even come with the remote control. Great product
