I looked at many different wood houses for our son including the other wood firehouses on amazon. Based on reviews I was nervous about this one, but for the price I decided to try it out. It is a big hit in our house! It spins around 360 which makes playing with it really fun and the firehouse doors open easily which makes it easy for our toddler to open on his own. The quality seems great although it needs time to put together so do not wait until 1030 on Christmas eve! I do not love the firemen as they are so generic and I have seen much cuter ones but they are fine for us as our son mostly has Buzz and Woody ride in the fire truck. I rarely post a review but I wanted other mommy's out there to know that for a really good price this is a fun alternative to a doll house for your boys.
