The scale and authenticity are good and although I did not expose this item to prolonged play by children, it appears to be pretty durable in normal use. I think most small boys would find this item to be an enjoyable toy, and it could be used either indoors or outdoors. It would also make an attractive display model for truck owners who like such things.
