I got this figure a few weeks ago and am loving it. Ill break down the review in 2 parts one for clayface the other for bats .
Clayface.
He Looks alot like the animated series sculpt , which is nice because Batman is wearing the TAS suit.
He has limited articulation , but can do a fair bit with what he has.
Legs can move up just a bit and extend out to the side a bit as well, he has bending knees which is always nice and can move his ankles around and up and down. He can twist his torso as well as bend it backward ad forward ( like hes doing sit ups or crunches) and he can turn his head. Now then the most unique articulation comes in his arms , instead of joints they gave him Bendable arms with wire. This is really coo , but its like a double edge sword, because while the wire in him helps give him a really flowy look with the clay dripping off of him , it will also eventually wear and tear at the soft arm ,depending on how rough you are with your posing or play time. He doesnt come with any snap on clay weapons like a clay hammer or mace so that sucks , but he works really well if you want him to hold batman like hes fighting him or something.
Batman.
Firstly I will say everyone of my friends has said that the clay on his bat suit looks like poop , which I can agree yes it does , a bit but you know its meant to be clay. Anyway with that said, Bats is awesome. he dons his gray animated series suit which if you ever try finding that figure by itself your looking for around 30$ on up , which you can get this set for so yeah...anyway he has the typical build like all other male figures in the DC Universe line up. So the articulation is great and he comes with a batarang to fight clayface with so thats cool. My only complaint was his cape. Its very tough and hard and not flowy like a cape should be so it limits his back bending articulation. Other than that hes really awesome and very durable , my only thing about the articulation and this goes for any figure with thier arm sculpt. Be very careful and gentle twisting it around as the joint that holds it together is a tiny plastic ball end and can break with enough force.
This is great for collectors who missed out on the single releases of these figures and great for kids who are able to play with action figures and not choke on little pieces.
